I’ve just enrolled in an online bible course and am very excited about it! There are a number of things to be said for online bible courses. Firstly, since the course is online, I can access it from home or work, at 9:00 AM or at 11:30 PM, whichever time suits me best.

Online bible courses cover the Old and New Testament, and can focus on one particular book, or a theme, such as The Ten Commandments. I’ve found that my first of many online bible courses has been great! I can’t wait to start my next one!

Plus, because I’m enrolled in an actual class, my reading of the Bible is going to be structured. I’ll have assignments, class discussions, and while we may not cover the Bible in one entire course (as the Bible is rather large and the courses are rather short), I can at least get a learning plan available for future reading.

If you’re like me and have tried to read the Bible from cover to cover, you may lose interest very quickly. (Personally, it took me forever to get through the Book of Genesis, simply because I was getting lost in all of the “begetting”). It’s not that I don’t want to read the Bible, because there are a number of stories within it that I find particularly interesting, I just need a bit of structure. That’s why I enrolled in online bible courses.
